Privacy Policy
Last updated 12 August 2026
This policy explains what happens to personal information you send through glitchoridex.com. It is written to meet the Australian Privacy Principles set out in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
Who is responsible
The site is published and operated by Jack MacLeod, a private individual based in Australia. Contact: [email protected], 20 Martin Place, Sydney NSW 2000, Australia, +61 2 9231 8000.
What we collect
Only what you type into the enquiry form: your name, your email address, an optional phone number and the free-text message, which usually contains a delivery address and a colour choice. There is no account system, no newsletter and no advertising or analytics script on this site. We do not use cookies for tracking; the cookie banner choice is kept in your browser's local storage and never reaches us.
Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs, which include IP addresses and request times. Those logs exist for security and troubleshooting and are not used to build a profile of you.
Why we collect it
To answer your enquiry and, if you are ordering the phone grip, to quote postage, issue an invoice by email and send the parcel. That is the whole purpose. We do not use your details for marketing and we do not sell or rent them to anyone.
How the form is delivered
When you submit the form, the contents are sent to a private chat through the Telegram Bot API, operated by Telegram Messenger Inc. This means the data you enter is transmitted to and stored on Telegram's servers, which are located outside Australia. Telegram's own privacy terms apply to that transmission. If you would rather not use the form, email us directly instead — the address is above.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not lead to an order are deleted within twelve months. Where an order is placed, we keep the correspondence for as long as needed to deal with delivery, returns and any consumer guarantee claim under Australian Consumer Law, and then delete it.
Disclosure to others
Your address is given to Australia Post or the courier when a parcel is sent, because it has to be. Beyond that and the Telegram transmission described above, your information is not disclosed to third parties, except where we are required to do so by Australian law.
Your rights
You can ask what personal information we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. Write to [email protected] and we will respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with how we handled your request, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS and the form is protected by a hidden anti-spam field. No payment details are ever entered on this site — there is no checkout here, and we will never ask for card numbers by email.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top of the page changes with it.
